Morning everyone:
Up two pounds so 6 above goal. I was three above goal and have come to the conclusion that am self-sabotaging. The old tape of: ' you don't deserve to get to goal ' is going around and around.
So for the past day am back to the basics of water and protein.
This is a journey.
Have a GREAT weekend.

IMO, it's time for you to set up some new non-scale goals. Maybe you make a goal to try 1 new sport every year. Maybe you try out for a play like MacMadame. Maybe you just try to do 1 new thing each year that takes you out of your comfort zone.
Many of us are so hyper-focused on goal that we forget about everything else, which is completely understandable given that we just had major, body-altering surgery to lose weight. But, many, many people forget about life after goal. Elina has written volumes on the subject. I was lucky to be a slow loser, so I was able to multi-task my weight loss along with my brain ****** up thinking. Trust me, my crazy still runs deep, but losing slowly curbed the maintenance freakout a little for me.
The goals don't end because the scale says you're finished. They just change to a different goal.
Take a deep breath and tell yourself that like weightloss, you are allowed to learn and grow during maintenance. It's all part of the ride, babe.
With all of this said, you may want to just completely ignore me because, technically, I'm still in weight loss mode.
