Training wheels are off (maybe)

Well I am  back home after another trip to see my ailing mother. I don't track food on trips any more as its too complicated and I usually lose on trips anyway. So this time I came home exactly the same weight as I left and didn't start journaling food daily as i have done for nearly four years. And so I feel sort of like a normal person. So far so good. My main worry is I won't get enough protein. Thats the ain reason I journaled and dr. thinks i need to go to 90. Yuk. But so far weight is stayiing stable and I feel good. Who knew

And I went to k mart and bought a bunch of t shirts and pants on sale size small without trying on. all fit fine.  what a thrill.

willl be going to italy in a few weeks and intend to eat gellato. so there. hopefully actiivity will keep me from gaining weight. life is so good at normal weight. I am wearing pink plaid pajama pants and an orange shirt  Because I CAN.   

Hubby is doing well at maintaining and his beautiful singing voice has returned. Acid reflux had ruined it. Life is good at normal weight. I want to grab every fat person i see and drag them to lapsf.    diane

I'm sorry that you are dealing with a sick mom. It's never an easy thing.

But, the rest of your life sounds like it is going along really well.

Yay for your hubby! Maintenance is such a ***** It's nice to hear about people doing it well.

I stopped journaling. I just got tired of it. I'd been doing it for over 5 years and I just was tired of it. Always before, I stopped as an excuse to eat junk and I immediately started gaining but not this time.

I do think my protein consumption has gone down though.

Oh and I just realized it's my 5 year anniversary! I wonder why OH didn't send me a little reminder email like they have in the past?
