Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday, September 19
178 again. I'm really trying to watch it... but I'm holding calories pretty constant (around 1800) but I haven't done any "BIG" rides in the past few weeks. That'll change starting Saturday with two biggies on two consecutive Saturdays... we'll see.
On the other hand, I, if i put my arm over my head I can see my ribs... so body fat must be pretty good. I'm still self-concious in the mid-section, but that's loose skin. So I just have to trust the numbers and see keep checking the BF and worry less about the scale.
Obviously, I'm concerned or I wouldn't be rambling about this every day.

Hi All! I never had a chance to post yesterday. Weight was 189.9 again yesterday and this morning. I wasn't surprised yesterday, as I always either stay the same or go up the morning after my dance class for some reason. I am also constipated and know in my bones that when that problem gets corrected, I will see the scale go down a little, so I'm trying not to feel discouraged at the number. I do feel much better now that I'm eating more cleanly and mindfully. At the same time, I'm trying to stave off the old tapes which lead to sabotaging myself. I have my annual physical coming up in 2-3 weeks, and the tapes are saying I have to have lost the extra weight by then. I don't know what I will end up weighing that day, but if I allow myself to listen to those tapes, I will end up weighing the same or more. So to those tapes, I say "SHUT UP!!!!" :) Have a good day everyone!
151.8 Checking out the forum here as I "ease" my way (haltingly and unsure) into whatever maintenance is/means for me. Feels real"rachettedy" if that makes any sense at all (don't know if it does to me, even). At any rate, here I am.

Fuck off a plan. You don't need a plan, you're within 8lbs of goal. I don't want to hear about the other goal. Start quilting, needlepoint in the wild where there are no restaurants of refrigerators. Write all weekend and leave everyone to their own devices, Just one weekend, by Monday you'll be fine again.. Whatever. You are here. There is just there. You can spit at it. Home stretch.
Part of my plan involves writing and staying away from refrigerators. I think I'll do better this weekend because I'm going to keep telling myself that it's just 1 effing month of eating this way AND I lost 3 ******g lbs so far this week.
I really haven't taken that much out of my diet. I just forced myself to stop the little bits of this and that. Probably only a 200 calorie difference, but **** I'll take it.
Go Slim Go!
152.3 seems to be where my body likes this week. Okay. Fine. I think my new maint weight is going to be 150-155, but **** at this point I don't care where it is. I've been eating crap for two weeks (moderately, I doubt I get in 1500 calories total, but still). I dunno. I'm struggling with a lot right now.
At least we have the 504 scheduled for my son next week. My daughter's doing great on online classes, but she's so damned over-achieving that she's making me crazy with the "okay, I finished, can you check this"... WTF, kid... I gave that to you 10 minutes ago.
Oh, and I have to work (supposedly only allowed 4 hours per day). Oh and I can't remember the last time I paid my personal bills. I think most are auto pay. I need to get my **** together.
Rant off.

Howdy, Hi! Good luck with your son's IEP, just out of curiosity- what is the name of the online curriculum your daughter's using? With the new common core being implemented there are some cool, "richer/deeper" experiences embedded in some of the virtual programs. The idea. Is that instead of glazing over each lesson with the purpose being- " I have this finished" , the emphasis is " how can I look for/learn / set my own goals for this lesson, and then reach them ( student takes a responsibility for education goals) . Kind of exciting.
