VSG Maintenance Group
Daily Weigh-in for Monday Sept 16th
Forgot to weigh in today... No workout yesterday - drove dog transport and had 7 pooches in the car who started their trip from kill-shelters in Tennessee and Georgia on Saturday. We drive leg number 20, the last leg - we hand them off to the rescue organizations that will foster them until adoption... some real cuties!

Aw shucks... :)
We've been doing it for a few years - about once a month. Only adopted one of our passengers, a seriously underweight, mangey, beat up little jack russell who, despite all that had the best attitude of any dog we've ever transported. So she's been part of our family for about 3 years now. Still sweet.

120 even today, so some of the water weight is off. Feeling a little blue this past week - nothing in particular. Started morning meditation practices again today to counter this. It usually is quite effective so here's hoping I can get back into my positive groove soon.

Hi All! I haven't been here for awhile, in part due to embarrassment. However, if I am to continue to grow as a person and be able to keep food and eating in its place, I have to get past this. I have put on about 10 lbs., not as a result of getting into foods that I've chosen to stay away from, but from sloppiness, and not being able to set limits with certain foods. So I am swallowing my pride and admitting that I need to do something different than I've been doing. I am back in weight loss mode, not maintenance. I made a big pot of Elina's green chicken soup last night, and have chosen to stay away from nuts, except for the 100 calorie pack of almonds that I put in my breakfast yogurt. I am also limiting snacking to a cup of the green soup or a lowfat cheese stick. I am also planning on getting back into the routine of weighing myself and posting here daily.
