Jeepers, September is 1/4 over.  VERY hot here yesterday...

I went out on the bike in the afternoon, it was around 95.  At the 3 hour mark I was totally bonked, but had another hour to go until I got home.  I made it, but it was a humbling experience.  I lost 9 pounds from leaving the house to return.

Spent the rest of the day/evening rehydrating!

172.8 today.  Probably still dehydrated a bit.

Good morning everyone:

Have not been posting as have been ashamed.   Which is an old behaviour action, head-in-the-sand trick.

Had gained 7 pounds in August.   Finally got my act together and have since lost 3 of them going back to the basics.   But still am 4.5 pounds above goal.

Basics for me is: protein and water and veggies.    No sugar and no gluten.  It has taken 1 week of basics to get those three pounds off and am determined to continue.

Still walking an hour a day as well as the normal  walking around at my job.

It is a struggle but worth it.

Will have to do a lot of reading to catch up with what you all are doing.

Have the best day.

Hey 3 lbs in a week is great, and it's not a race anyway - steady as she goes...  You know the drill... it's  easy to drift off course if you're not looking at a map/plan and logging where you've been.

We probably all need to work hard to remove "shame" from our vocabularies and just work hard to deal with facts and take actions based on those facts.  One thing I've learned over the various weight ups and downs in my life is that shame has never served me well... logging and reflection on the logs has...  The moment I stop logging my weight, my intake, my exercise... that's when i'm in trouble.

Good Morning!! 137.6#   Yay!!!  Happy with that number.  Maintenance is a tricky slippery slope.  Trying to be okay with a range weight as I know I will fluctuate.

Lesson plans, iep's, laundry and cooking on my agenda today.

Happy Sunday!

154.0 - 6 lb loss from last night. WOOT!!! Felt like all I did last night was get up to pee. Also, if there was a flatulence award, I'd get 1st place.

I'm off the pain meds, so I can drive to work tomorrow. The pain is a little higher right now, but its controllable.

You all have a fantastic day!

120.2 today. Down 2 more, so now 5 below goal. I'm feeling ready to increase calories. Finally!  I feel like a kid who just got a raise in her allowance!

153.4 (was 153 on the nose yesterday). Slowly getting back to my happier zone. I want to maintain under 152, but my body REALLY likes 155, so it always seems to yo-yo around there. I'm honestly not worrying about it.

A little nervous, they are moving me from Percoset to Narco tomorrow. I'm happy because I'm more lucid on it, but nervous because it's less powerful. Pain is getting better. I'm getting better. Recovery is SO slow, but I'm getting there. I just need to be able to go without meds until Noon by the 24th when my sister leaves.
