174 - up a bit - re-hydrating from the weekend I guess.  The good news is that my size 30 jeans are starting to feel a bit baggy, so I believe I'm making some muscle gains from my workout program.  I'm still trying to schedule a DEXA scan so I can get a super-accurate body fat percentage that will tell me the real story.

119. As usual. LOL

Today is my audition to be a Flying Monkey!

Sunday we watched the VMAs and Mini-Mac started foaming at the mouth about Miley Cyrus. She tweated about it and some bozo did one of those "articles" which is really just stringing together other people's tweats and included my kid's. So some insane Cyrus fan started stalking her. Mini-Mac handled it pretty well. She blocked the person and reported them and that was the end of that.

The internet is so great for some things, and so horrible for others... ugh. Glad she handled it well.

157.7 - I'm not giving up on going back down but frankly, I'm 28 days out from this dual fusion and still not doing all that great. I'm better than two weeks ago, but I'm in a good bit of pain much of the time. On Thursday, I'll make the official decision about not going back to work part time. Right now, I'm doing an hour per day and that's barely happening. I was going to do 4 hours, but I just don't see that happening.

It sucks. I'm in a bad place. Also my sister being here isn't helping. No, that's not right. She is helping a LOT, with household stuff, getting kids and me to places we need to be, doing all the errands, etc etc. But she's also obese and her eating habits make it hard to live around. I'm working on it.

Honestly, I'm not eating all that bad. I think some of it this swelling that is at the incision site and some from liquid calories I'm allowing myself to indulge in. That has to stop. I might start logging again soon since I'm awake more and more. Less naps.

I have good days where the pain is minimal and I almost feel normal. Then there are days like today where I just want my life back. I was told 4-12 week recovery. One day when someone tells me that I won't automatically assume they exaggerate and I'll be one of the 4 weekers. LOL!

Candy, I am so sorry that you have to go through this hell. You sound better than you did, a couple of weeks ago, but it does seem like you have a long road ahead of you. I send positive thoughts your way and wish you a more rapid recovery.
