Just thinking out loud, here.

That is exactly what I plan to do, after my surgeon reviews my test results and consults with his colleagues. It is uncharted territory for Bariatric patients. Luckily, I am in the San Francisco Bay Area, so there other Bariatric surgeons and programs to consult with. The hernia can be dealt with, but the loose lower esophageal sphincter is more problematic. Ideally, both issues would be taken care of, at the same time.
