Daily Maintenance Weigh In - TGI Friday Aug 23, 2013
175 steady week. Back to working out consistently, which helped. Eating was mostly under control, and dialed back 200 calories, so I was able to get back into my range and stay...
Meetings all morning (we have a tradition where, once a month I cook breakfast for my business partners - we've been doing it for about 8 years now), a French lesson with my tutor at noon, then off to Wisconsin for a weekend of cycling...

TGIF is right! I am getting off work early and it is finally a beautiful sunny day here in Atlanta. So much rain I was beginning to think I had been transported to Seattle!
118.9 today! Woohoo. Back down to my fighting weight. I had gained 4 lbs relatively quickly over the past 2-3 weeks. Some had to be water weight, nonetheless I am feeling better now that I know I can buckle down and get it off. I know what works for now and hope to keep it that way. Have a good weekend everybody.
149.6 - still no idea how that happened.
My eating is not stellar, but getting in 10,000+ steps yesterday in my 2-inch strappy heels must have helped. I always do better with weight loss when I exercise - over the long term anyway. Over the short term, I usually get a lot of fluid retention.
Working on cleaning up my eating and I'm taking shorts and tennis shoes with me to work. It's supposed to be my first "normal" working day - 9 to 2. At 2 pm I plan to strap on my tennies and walk for an hour until my kids get out of school.
We'll see if my plan holds.
Yay for getting under 150 again! SO happy for you.
I forgot to weigh. Slept until 9. Now on recliner sofa getting ready for a nap. WAY overdid it yesterday. Stupid stuff I knew better, I hate this recovery. It sucks. But I'm doing a little better, the weird swelling on one incision is starting to freak me out and the pain comes and goes, but when it comes, OMFG. I haven't noticed any more nerve pain, if that alone goes away completely, I'll consider this a success, honestly.

124.8 today so up 1.6 since yesterday. I certainly didn't bounce around like this in weight loss phase so it's a bit disconcerting. Could it be the extra carbs?
Off to San Antonio - theoretiically - this morning. But first leg is delayed 2.5 hours so only 20 mins to connect in Houston. They didn't even bother to rebook that second leg because it would be several hours delay there too. I suppose they didn't want to deal with the double delay wrath. Can't blame them I suppose. So a long day for what should have been a short trip!
No scale for 10 days. Never done that before, but I don't plan much of a deviation from regular fare anyway.

I get it about the bouncing around Sis. If we could unlock the puzzle, figure out the riddle we could be gazillionaires! Just like you helped me the other day- get your water in especially since traveling by plane, walk in the airport while you have those layovers, and watch those pesky carbs. Travel safely, love ya lots
Very good advice Mims. My hunger is already up because I'm feeling annoyed so a good walk will help me change my emotion - with water in hand ;)
