Daily maintenance weigh in Wednesday 8/7

Mom4Jazz
on 8/6/13 10:40 pm

Today's weight 138.2

My new NSV is that I've discovered my feet have shrunk back into many women's shoes. I had been unable to wear almost any women's shoes; some 12 wides. I can now wear an 11 normal width and even the occasional 10 1/2. Not all shoes come in those sizes but a lot do nowadays and it's exciting not to have to find the least masculine looking mens shoes!

Just got a pair of these; they're adorable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004T8TRWG/ref=oh_details_o 00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

143.4#  Nothing to say about that except the scale is jerkin' me around.  I'll wait for it to stop being pissy!  I'm still a whine bag...I'll get over it as there are much bigger things going on beside my back ache!!

Cute shoes, Mom!!

I hope everyone has a better day and a clean eating day!

I'm up early today even though I don't have to be to wor****il 11:30. High school registration starts today. It's a chance for parents to stand in long lines and ignore their children who are busy texting their friends who are also in line. They get to find out about the $350.00 worth of books that their child never turned in. It COULDN'T be Johnny's fault. Sarah SWEARS she turned them in and that the teacher never told them that they had to turn in the books. Also, this is the first year for online registration. It took me about 20 minutes total for both of my kids. Nevertheless, there will be hundreds of parents who will not have done it. SO, they will be in the Library cussing and fussing while they use our media center to hammer out their frustration on our brand new computers.

I will smile through it all because I feed off the imbecilic behavior of others.

Today is 9th and 11th. Tomorrow is 10th and 12th.

Odd. Wonder why seniors wouldn't get to register first.

Enjoy the restless mobs.

It's pity, pure and simple - there isn't a single Senior that is willing to get up before 11 am.

Morning everyone:

Down to 4 pounds above goal.  Well, to be honest, 4,8 which is way better than 6 or gasp!!! 7.    Have to keep at it.

Reading the past few days of posts it would seem that many of us are struggling with food issues.   I guess that struggling is good.  It is when we give up and say:  " Oh, I will always be overweight.  Or, what does it matter it is only 20 pounds over goal' that we should be truly worried.  What IS scary is that that is a mindset that am fighting off daily.

And so, as had been already said, have a good day everyone. Enjoy the clean eating.

Mom, those shoes ARE cute.

102.6 lbs today.  Clearly, I'm on a weight gain streak.  Not totally unexpected but I had hoped this day would never come.  I'll deal.

Cute shoes, Mom!

Have a good one, all!

Didn't weigh today. No particular reason for that. Just didn't. I had an awesome day yesterday in both activity and eating so I am trusting the process that there will be no surprises tomorrow if I continue on plan today! Happy Hump Day everyone.

love love love those shoes mom. wish i could wear clogs. isn't it a bi--- to have weird feet. ya, my feet got thinner and lots of old shoes don't fit but they are dressy so who cares.

119.5 today. lots to do but feeling lazy.

made a shrimp ricotta bake last night. a pint low fat ricotta, 4 eggs, 6 oz of costco lime cilantro shrimp. whirl in the food processor, put in a 8" pyrex pan, bake at 350 for 20 to 30 min, sprinkle with a bit of parmesan cheese. salt and pepper to taste. lotta protein in a little square.
