Morning:
Hope that Candy is doing well.
Up 6 above goal.
Decided to go on the pre-op diet which for me was clear liquids during the day and green salad at night. Was doing well but yesterday was a stressful day and because am still using food as a medication for pain and stress, am up another two this morning.
Not giving up!
Back on the pre-op diet today.
Have a good one.
Good morning, SFChorus and all.
Today's weight: 137.8
Hubs and I are going for a walk around DC tomorrow. I'm guestimating maybe 7 miles or so. Every once in a while I marvel at how much I look around and still marvel at how much I enjoy things I would have once dreaded - like a good long walk around sight-seeing. I've lived in the general vicinity of DC for more than 20 years (I'm 90 minutes away now) but have never enjoyed the area like I should have because there's so much walking involved. So I'm seeing it with new eyes now.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
126.8 this morning. Up just over a pound after 2 days in maintenance. Rationally, I know it's not possible to have a real gain, so I guess the trick is to not freak out while the numbers bounce around, right?
Had a beautiful evening with Julia (wantmylife). She is a lovely person inside and out. Today, it's a few hours of work (in a new dress from BCGB) and then pick up my motorcycle (added engine guards) and out for a few hours of riding with my husband.
Have a lovely day!

No weight again today, but an absolutely stunning day in Paris - 90 degrees, blue skies, and short skirts :)
Walked about 8 miles so far... Tomorrow is supposed to be similar but a bit cooler. I got my main tasks done - I really wanted to get a "paris inspired" cycling jersey - last few trips I looked around but the bike shops didn't carry anything "interesting." I googled around and found a cool shop run by 3 generations of a family where the grand-dad was a star racer back before WW2, and won a couple iconic races in the late 30s. I got a full "kit" of jersey, shorts and cap, in the french national colors with the name of the shop on each piece. It will be fun to wear at my next race in Wisconsin.
Bonne week-end, mes amis !
