Daily Maintenance Weigh-In - Tuesday July 16th, 2013
Gooood morning!
I've got all my sales tax and payroll reports done for the quarter for the clients I handle myself. Yayyyyyyy! Can I go back to bed now?
149.5 - feeling good. Been trying to figure out what the hell to do with my calories, I think I'm going to try to hold steady around 1200 for a week or so and see what happens. I realized I barely ate yesterday, so I had to eat ice cream to get the calories up. Yup. Had to. Absolutely required. Rocky Mountain Road. HOLY HELL, I can see that I cannot let that become a habit because I ate 1 cup of it and thank good the carton was empty. LOL. I'm trying to stay smart with what I'm eating, but allow room to have freaking ice cream with my kids now and then. As long as it's not every night, I'm not sweating it. I refuse to trade one food disorder for another.

I hardly ever read or look at FB. I decided to this morning and now I remember why I never look at FB. My husband's uncle is a minister and he's ranting about emotionless people in church. I am proud of myself. I kept my opinions to myself and logged out of FB. I should be good for another month or two before I get the urge to read it again.

Felt out of control a bit while running around NY all weekend. I try not to eat in restaurants much, but since we were "out on the town" that wasn't an option. I "felt" out of control, but on logging everything I pretty much hit my calorie targets. Sunday was a Bastille day party at a friend's house. Let's just say the food was not "on plan." I stuck mainly to cheese - of which there were many to sample.
Yesterday I got in a 75 mile bike ride - in 90 degree heat... I thought I was keeping up with water consumption but I lost 8 lbs... spent last night vigorously rehydrating...

G'mornin!
Saw the B52's at the Fillmore theatre last night - woohoo! They looked and sounded great, and the concert was fun. I don't really drink anymore (not because of my weight but because my boyfriend gave it up so I gave it up in solidarity with him), but a shot of tequila would have been great last night :-) Still, I danced my head off and had a good time anyway!
101.4 lbs today. I'm experimenting with more carbs, by the way.

Ice cream does have a place in the diet....once in a while. I actually had a cup of SF jello pudding with a scoop of lite cool whip and and truly enjoyed it. Its been a long time since I had something that sweet. I have not even tried a sugared ice cream since beginning this way of life for the past 16+ months. I am still amazed that I have had no fast food, pizza etc either, not even a french fry. This will change one of these days since I only have 4 pounds more to goal!
So jealous Candy that you have made your revised goal and are settling into a comfy maintenance. you have earned every compliment given and we all know how hard this is!
