"Skinnies"?

Anyone ever heard of these, or better yet, tried them?

http://www.instantlifts.com/

I'm in desperate need of a thigh lift, but it will probably never happen.  I wear spanx every day to deal with my stomach skin, but need a solution for my thighs.  I'm not looking for something to wear every day, but it would be nice to wear a dress during the summer (too hot for tights) without needing it to go past my knees to cover the sag.  After all, I'm only 31!!  Found these while googling, and though they seem kind of ridiculous, I'd be willing to try anything if it worked.

The problem is, I can't tell from the website HOW they work. This makes me skeptical. Hopefully someone has actually seen the product in person and can report back.

EXACTLY!! I get the pulling part, but then what part of my body is supposed to be magically responsible for holding my thigh up all night.  What do I attach it to? And, where exactly does all this extra skin go?  Hmmmm?

My second husband is going to have to be a plastic surgeon... just don't tell my first ;)

I don't use any shape wear because of something I saw on Dr. Oz. He had a woman on the show that wore shape wear every day. He showed her what happens to her esophagus and throat because of the tension put on her waist by the shape wear. It wasn't pretty.

I almost never catch Dr. Oz, but I'm kind of glad I did that day. I decided from that moment on that I wouldn't buy something if I had to wear Spanx under it. My only caveat to this would be a special occasion - one night that required a nice dress - that kind of thing.

I have my fair share of sagging skin. Maybe it's my age (I'm 42 - gravity has been working against me for years), but I don't really worry about it that much. Sometimes my pathetic boobs bug me, but it's nothing a good bra can't handle.

I've seen similar stories, but these are in relation to shapewear that is compressing the body.  I'm just smoothing loose skin, and my spanx are barely tight enough to do this job.  They're really no tighter than any other spandex type garment (ie bike shorts).  I'm glad the days of having to lift and squeeze every part of my body into nice clothes are long gone, but I'd love it even more if I could wear jeans and a t-shirt (or better yet, a short dress) without having to worry about skin escaping!

Yikes,

I had never read that before.  Thanks for posting.  I only do spanx if I wear a dress- it is just terrible without it.  Slacks and sweaters or blazers does fine without it.  Never thought about what all that tension could do to us long term though.  Ugh.  One more thing to have to think about!
