Your weight looks good. Is your body fat at a place, where you could lose more weight, without sacrificing muscle mass?

Good question.  Last bod pod (March) I was at 14% - that's good, but not as low as it could be for athletics.  I need a recheck.  The pros get pretty low, below 10% for sure.  I may wait and work on the BF over the winter so I don't give up muscle gains during the "season."

Come to Colorado and ride for a week before the next race. Those things you all call hills out there are merely speed bumps out here.

Seriously, you fly over those "hills."

I know - but i have to be able to get up these before I tackle something bigger.  I'm hoping to do some winter training in AZ or CA to keep up the hill climbing.

AZ and CA are sloppy seconds to our altitude, jmo of course. Nothing like gasping for air at 10,000 feet. It really expands the lungs capacity. enlightened

Totally agree - just have to work up to it, or it won't do me much good :)

Awesome pic, Tom.  I suggest you come to California and train in North Lake Tahoe (elev 6,000 feet) for a week.  Then, go to Colorado and do another training week at 10,000 feet.  Do this right before your next race - which I assume will be at sea level - and with your increased lung capacity, you'll leave everybody else in the dust!  Well, at least that's my theory :-)
