171.1 today, feeling good to be back near the bottom of my comfort zone.
Happy Thursday everyone - heading home from NY tonight.

157, so 2 gone from yesterday. Had a great day yesterday, we added someone to our family and I didn't eat a bunch of ****
This is Anton. We got him from the humane society. He is almost a year old, was found as a stray and brought in by someone that said that her kids and other chihuahua got along fine with him. He's housebroken, loves to play, is very polite (well, except to Leo, whom he's decided is his sex toy - we have a bit of a humping problem). He obviously had a family before us, but he wasn't microchipped and people tried to find his home. I kind of feel bad about that, but he has a loving home here now. He's some sort of mutt mix of cairn, terrier and maybe schnazer.
Leo LOVES him, he's excited to have someone to play with. Julie could care less, she usually ignores everyone though, she's a bit of a diva that way.
Yes, I have 3 dogs now. I'm obviously crazy. My daughter really wanted another one and she's so responsible, I couldn't say no. Esp not after we met Anton. He's a little love.
... now to get him to stop molesting poor Leo.

The endoscopy showed a hiatal hernia, slowed gastric motility (common with partial gastrectomies), and a loosened lower esophageal sphincter. The loose sphincter allows more reflux, so I don't have any protection. Fortunately, no ulcers are present, no esophageal erosion is present, and there are no strictures present.
My PPI has been increased to twice per day, but since there is a mechanical issue present, I'm not sure this will help very much. Since I am back to my usual foods and routine, my symptoms are under control. I have to be extra careful to eat small, frequent meals and to eat slowly.
I'm glad that I saw my pcp. There are real reasons for my symptoms that go beyond eating too much or too fast.
Where do we go from here? I'm not sure, but my 3 year follow up with Bariatrics will be in August.

101.2 lbs. That's better. I see now how easy it is to get off-track and let old habits and cravings creep back in. Although I've been at my current weight for over six months, I just realized that I'm only now defining what maintenance really means for me. How much is too much, and how do I know? It's a challenging question. I'm looking forward to finding the answer.
Candy, your dogs are CUTE!
Happy Thursday everybody. Onward ho!
