Question of the day: if someone gave you $100,000, tax free and clear, what would you do with it?

My answer: I would pay for full-body plastics and then take the whole family to Hawaii and then Paris :)

153.6 this morning, all is well in CandyLand.

Back hurts, check. Coffee, check. Surrounded my fruit flies, check. More coffee, coming soon.

$100k, probably take a sabbatical for 6 months and live in Paris, accelerate my French studies, etc.  It would be great!

175 today.

Yesterday I did the Kickapoo Kicker bike race.  Due to horrific weather (lightning mainly) the race start was delayed 2 hours, so they had to eliminate the 200k (and 150k) distance.  The 100k was the only option left - actually measured 72 miles, so it was good.  The course was insanely hilly with 10 severe climbs that really tested my ability.  Pushed through it, and turned in a respectable time - still waiting for official results... But a great day.  I pushed myself harder than I have on any physical activity ever, for 5 hours.  Regardless of where I placed, I don't think I could have gone any faster.

Fun question!  I'd spend 40% to partially fund grad school (money is what's keeping me from applying in the first place),40% to my 401K, and the last 10% would be for a short vacation with the boyfriend.

101 lbs today.

Have a good one, all!

Fun question. I would use some for plastics and a portion for redoing my kitchen and floors.

103.6 lbs today. Lower weight seems to be sticking this week.

I would take a deserving but low income student and give them an amazing education without the debt.

106.2 today.

I would take my parents on vacation and then stick the rest of it in the bank!

147.2#. New low:)

Grilling blue cheese hamburgers for my FIL's birthday with sweet potatoe fries, three bean salad, and carrot cake.  I'm choosing the hamburger, three bean salad and a bite of carrot cake!

Have a wonderful Sunday, ya'll!

I'd put the money in Mini-Mac's college fund. Then I'd be able to justify spending disposable income on things like plastics and a new car for MacBoy because I wouldn't be worrying about how we're going to pay for her college. Oh and I want to go to New Zealand. And China. And the Grand Canyon. We'll probably do a lot of those things anyway but having her college taken care of would make it easier and more fun.
