I ate so badly yesterday. Wow. Anything I could find, I ate. It was epic.
I ate crap, not because I'm sick. It was guilt pure and simple. Guilt for having to ask my wonderful hubby to stay home yesterday and take care of us. Guilt because I'm sicker than a dog on Father's Day weekend. Guilt for things that I can't even ******g control. The head **** is always amazing to me.
I feel like an epic fail, now. But, the one day of bad eating stops at one day. I'm back on plan today, even if I can't taste a ******g thing.
One cool thing - when I went to the Dr yesterday for drugs, the PA asked me if I was trying to lose weight. Why, yes, yes I am. I'd lost 8 lbs from the last time I'd been in the Dr's office. That was pretty cool.
You all have a wonderful day.

Glad to hear you're back on plan today Slim. I agree - the mental aspect of the VSG game is the worst. Feel better soon.
100.2 lbs today, despite mindless, emotional eating yesterday.
Has anyone heard of a brand of belgian chocolate called "Cavalier?" It's sweetened with stevia and is amazing. Yesterday, I decided to melt some and dip strawberries in it. Wow! Better than Godiva (except I don't really remember what the chocolate covered strawberries at Godiva taste like anymore :-). Anyway, the Cavalier chocs can be triggery to some, but might prove to be a nice treat for others. Just thought I'd let you all know about it.
Have a good one all!

I'm on a food log and scale sabbatical for a few days.
Just got back from what I hope is the last trip to Lowes for the DIY of my daughter's room. The quarter round is way too hard to deal with when using a hammer and nail, so we bought a small compressor and nail gun. That's it and then we can hang up the blinds, put the wall plates back on, finish the closet shelves and move her stuff back in.
He's a teacher so it's nice he can do this stuff over the Summer. Next week he's organizing the garage and then will start on his man cave.

My daughter, Cassie has chosen all of the colors, the design and the flooring and light fixture. I insisted on scraping that damn popcorn off of the ceiling and I LOVE the way it opens the room up vertically. In our 20 years of marriage this was our first major renovation that we did all ourselves (really, he did it all, I did a little painting and stuff) and I'm proud we did it!
