148.8 - I think this is fluid retention. Did weight training yesterday. Always a little puffy after that.

My 15 yo got 3 hours of driving in yesterday. WOOT! Everyone survived cleaning lessons. My 15 yo is now fully in charge of his own laundry. YAY!

Today is hopefully going to be relaxing, but I'm too much like Candy. I will probably find something to work on.

You all have a fan-damn-tastic day!

No rest for the wicked, baby!

Back up to 152.5 (my body REALLY likes that apparently LOL). I had some junk last night - the first time I've had nutter butter creme patties in TWO YEARS. Yes, it was worth the calories, I love those things, but that's it for a while. The craving was taken care of. :) I spent TWO HOURS scraping the floor in my kid's room yesterday and another hour filling in holes with spackle and my back and butt (sciatica) is telling me that I was ******g crazy to do it. I burned some SERIOUS calories though with all the hard work yesterday.

Hubby got the popcorn ceiling down (those of you that know me on Facebook saw photos). Today, we're going to work on sanding and patching the ceiling, sanding the glossy trim, cleaning up ALL the dust, cleaning the baseboards and walls and mask everything for painting this week.

It was SO nice to be able to do all of that yesterday. Yeah, I'm in pain and swollen like crazy, but... I was able to do it!

We'll be working on painting both kids' rooms when they leave for camp at the end of the month. Can't wait to get that done.

I hope you recover soon. smiley

Morning everyone:

Up 4 pounds.  In one day!

Tore a calf muscle on Friday and am bloated bloated bloated.  PLUS, because there is no real food in the house I made pancakes.  I don't normally eat flour but could not face the pain of having to get up and out to the store.  Too many pancakes as a matter of fact.

Leg pain still considerable.

Going to the market today to get some real food as protein always fills me up.

Hope that your day is wonderful.

Ouch! Sorry that happened to you. Can you send someone else to the store?? A friend maybe?

Stinks to be hurt.

Hi Apple,

I'm sorry to hear about the torn calf - that sounds really painful!  I will be sending you healing thoughts from where I am...

Last night, I had my first post-vsg popcorn.  I ordered a small bag and ate virtually the whole thing over the course of a two hour movie (Star Trek is as cheesy as ever but I still love it :-).  You know, there was a time in my life when my favorite dinner was popcorn and red wine - lol!  I don't think those days are coming back.  The popcorn wasn't as good as I remembered, and I think I'll be happy to have it only at the movies.

We then picked up a take-out dinner, which for me was thai fried rice with crab.  I had to lysol the stuff after because I couldn't stop eating it.  So, I'll have to proceed with caution around fried rice :-)

100 lbs today.  Surprising, considering the massive amounts of carbs (and salt!) I had yesterday.  But I'll take it!

Have a good one, all!

F

ROFLMAO... you Lysol'd it... that's some kind of awesome!

Just FYI, my nut and surgeon once told me that it can take 2-3 days for whatever you eat to show up on the scale. *shrug* I figure as long as the overall trend is good, then it's all good.

Yeah, sometimes lysol is the only way to get food to stop speaking to me!  I have to kill it with lysol, otherwise I'll just keep thinking about it, even if it's the compost!  Weird but it works :-)

Yeah, I seem to be on a continued carb tear today.  I just went and had some polenta with eggs for brunch.  And I'm still hungry now!  The carbs have to stop.  You're absolutely right - I'm sure they'll show up on the scale at some point.

HAHA! I've done the Lysol thing before. I've also been known to poor vinegar on cookies.

Damn carbs.
