156.2
Wow! I was 156 when I left and I ate crap - I mean CRAP - the entire time I was gone. I learned a lesson though. I'm now sitting here with a sore throat from all the reflux I managed to give myself.
Lesson learned and moving onward.
I had an AMAZINGLY great visit. The Cour d'Alene area is absolutely gorgeous and I was able to go hiking (even with my sore back and, yes, I did pay for it later).
I have my 2 year followup with my surgeon today. I had these wild dreams of being at my ultimate goal by this visit, but you know what? The number on the scale is just one of my goals. I've reached SO many others... it's okay.

Reflux has been the one major drawback of having a VSG, for me. Sorry to hear about your throat Candy.
100.6 lbs today.
Have a good one, all!

Low carbing has definitely made the weight very stable. Drove the carbs down super-low the last couple of days - definite lack of energy at the end of the day... but I'm getting back to being adapted to it.. hope to snap out of that by the weekend.
Flying to New York on Sunday and I have my French level A2 language exam on Monday - so that's exciting. Learning a language has been on my "bucket list" forever, as I never did it in High School or college. But, I've been at it for 2 years now and although it's difficult, I can see progress... I can definitely read, but my real "success" benchmark will be to gain the ability to watch a movie and not need the subtitles. That's probably 2 years away, but it definitely keeps my brain limber - which is the real benefit. It exercises parts of my brain that nothing else gets at...

Still going in the right direction after my dental implant crisis. However, I wish I could lose as much weight as I did money on this implant. Paid $3000 and had the implant for 6 months at which time it fell out. The dentist tried to put another one in place after the bone grew back, but damaged the nerve which resulted in my crisis. It was soooooo painful. All said and done, I get $500 back out of $3000 and end up with nothing, I am NOT a happy patient.
168.4 today.
