article on children of mothers who have had wls
Love this. My kids have both become healthier, slimmer and overall in better health. My entire family in fact.... xoxoxo

Thanks for posting this. I had read something similar before my second pregnancy (first post op). It makes me feel guilty that I may have put my daughter (pre wls) at a disadvantage over her brother (and any future babies). However, since she is very active and super petite, I can only hope that I'm building lasting habits to keep her that way. I was her size as a child, but blame the fact that my parents are pretty clueless about nutrition for leading me astray. I hope to change history and give my kids the best chance at a healthy life!
I had both my kids pre-WLS. Well, nothing I can do about it now! So I'm not going to worry about it.
I just take it as one more sign that WLS does something to our bodies more than just remove part of our stomach -- that it does change our brain and our hormones and our chemistry and -- it appears -- our genes!
