Candy, you made that consult sound downright pleasant!  Pleasant, but expensive ($30K - ouch!!)  I'm so happy that the experience was good for you though, and that you've had many of your questions answered.  It must be a relief to know what the doctor recommends and what the future holds.

It must also be good to know that your weight loss journey is pretty much done!  After 200+ pounds, you totally deserve to be at a stopping point.  What you've achieved is phenomenal - I hope you're very proud!  I certainly am proud of you!

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.

LOL, I don't know that I'd say pleasant, but it wasn't as horrible as I had built it up in my head to be. It was definitely one of the harder things I've done for sure. And, yes, it feels great to know where I stand for sure... and that I was right... I'm not "too skinny" but right where I should be +/- five pounds. I STILL wasn't sure if I was right or not until he said, "your arms are totally deflated and they look awesome, your arms are going to look absolutely amazing when we're done". He was a little more realistic about my stomach. There will be a lot of scarring and a lot of stretch marks that he can do nothing about, but it's not about wearing a bikini here... it's about living.

I'm ready to live at this point :)

Hey there. You might want to check out Dr Sauceda. He is in Mexico but specializes in WLS patients. Many peeps on this board have gone to him. I went in 2009 and loved the results. I had extended tt, breast aug/lift, small thigh, booty fat injections, and extended lipo. I can't remember exactly how much I paid but I know it was less than 13k...
There is a forum on here built of past and potential patients of his. Just search on his name. Best of luck.
