I hope you all had a fabulous Mother's Day!
I'm 152.6 this morning, up a little bit from indulging, not worried, but hoping the pain patch doesn't cause weight gain for me. I'm watching it, nothing I can do, but just know...
Question: Any grand plans this week that you are really looking forward to? Others you are not?
Me? I'm most looking forward to the weekend. My BFF and I are spending it together at someone else's house who is out of town and needed someone to feed her dog. She has a hot tub. SCORE. We haven't been seeing each other as often as we'd like so we're going to sneak off. Not looking forward to a client meeting I have coming up because I have to put down my foot a little. Sigh. I think it will be just fine, I just always hate these meetings.

OK - I will get to the bottom of this...
Started back with triathlon training last week - first time in 5 years. Not so certain that it is my cup of tea anymore even though training was much harder 100 lbs ago! I am feeling like I need my life to be a bit more laid-back as far as scheduling is concerned. Hanging with the training for now just to make sure this is not just my anxiety rearing it's ugly head considering I just paid $230 for it. Anyway, it will get me back on my bike and, gulp! out in the water again...I love the training group but just not sure I want the lifestyle at the moment...

Plans, why yes, funny you should ask...
Good, long ride yesterday - 45 miles. My last big ride before 100 mile "race" in New York on Sunday.
I have some light cycling "assignments" this week to keep my legs limber but not tire me out.
I feel ready... I'm so glad I hired a coach at the beginning of the year. I feel like i'll be thrivin' not just hanging on by my fingernails.
I'm really digging these endurance events. Looking forward to the next 2 - 200km and 300km.

Hi All! Today's weight was 182.7 - been eating too many nuts again and trying to cut them way back or out completely.
I have a crazy, busy week this week. We went to MIL's for the weekend and then I had an extra dance class last night. It's recital week, so we're all practicing at the Opera House instead of the dance school. Between the 3 of us, we'll be at the Opera House every day through Sunday. Dress rehearsal is Friday, with performances Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. There is also work and school (of course) mani/pedi and hair appts., tennis team matches and softball games!! I took Friday off to decrease the being out on screech a little. My cousin and her husband are coming up from MA for Sunday's show. I'm taking next Monday off too to visit with them and then to just veg. Phew, I'm tired just writing this!!! LOL We're having a ball though!
