VSG Maintenance Group
Daily Maintenance Weigh-In Friday May 17 2013
Thanks Fiona!
I'm sure I'll do fine - at this point it's very much a matter of "managing" my effort carefully so as not to burn out. It will be fun to ride with so many people at once. Some of the upcoming rides this summer will have a few hundred riders.. 7,000 will be very interesting!

161.4 - oh well...
I have been so exhausted lately both mentally and physically - that is probably contributing to my inability to get rid of the extra weight I have been carrying all week. I have been exercising every day and some of it is causing some stress since I am doing things I haven't done in 5 years. Maybe some naps are in order this weekend!
152.8 - trying to NOT freak out that I'm gaining slowly. TOM and pain meds. I'm okay today, but I can feel that "should I freak out" feeling coming on and that's no good. I'm basically maintaining and still within the range I want to stay, so I need to just be easy on myself.
The intense chocolate cravings are slowly going away today so I think that part is over. I was 151 on 4/21. I really don't want to have a whole month of no loss, but really... I have a lot of crap going on with the steroid injections over the past month and everything else, so the fact that I didn't gain 10 pounds is amazing.
Dear Candy: Give yourself a freaking break.
Today has sucked. One of my employees had major computer problems (she, like all of mine, works from home 1200 miles away LOL), we finally got that fixed and then her internet went down. Company says it will be back up Monday, some sort of major issue out there. Lunch meeting with a client, a few other errands... and THEN I had to take one of my dogs to the vet. He has a UTI (they had to do an ultrasound because they couldn't find his bladder LOL). They found crystals in his urine, but they don't want to call it stones yet, so we go back in 2 weeks for a recheck and if there's crystals again, he'll go on a special diet and they'll send it out for further analysis.
I swear, dogs are more maintenance than kids.
LOL! I love this daily thread. Gives me a chance to ramble :)

Awww... thanks for giving me such a warm and loving place to be brave and real :) It helps having people that "get" what I'm saying (or at least nod their heads a lot LOL)

That's what's so great about this group, right? I can say things here that I wouldn't say to my hubby or in the main forum because they don't really get it, ya know?
Honestly, *I* still can't really believe I've lost 200 pounds. It's MIND BLOWING. I've lost like 60% of my starting weight!
