Happy Happy Mother's Day!!
I woke up this morning before my whole family (this is typical) and took an 8km walk to watch the sunrise and grab some coffee. It was nice and gave me some time to reflect back over the past 15 months and how it has impacted my life as a mother to two fabulous children!
Today we are going out to breakfast and then probably taking in a lakefront nature walk with the kids and hubby. In the afternoon I am baking homemade brownies with the kids and in the early evening a BBQ dinner (Turkey burgers, corn on the cob, spinach salad, and german potato salad) with my mother-in-law. After that we are watching HOCKEY playoffs! Woot! Good luck to the Leafs!
Anyway,,,,,,,, I knew it would be so....

100 lbs today.
Went for a short bike ride yesterday and am so SORE today! I'm in worse shape than I thought!

149.2 - Worked around the house and outside yesterday. Feeling the fluid retention.

I am getting a pedicure with my daughter this afternoon, then going to see Ironman 3. Lunch out maybe. Probably won't try to dinner out. Usually too crazy unless we get to the restaurant early.
151.2 - down a smidge, getting close. Very happy with where I am. I look and feel like a thin person and have all week, no fat days. This is huge for me. I'll take it

Pain has been very tolerable today (hoping this bodes well for the pain patch!). We usually do NOT go out for any meals on holidays because it's always a madhouse, but my daughter REALLY wanted to take me out for brunch so we headed to The Egg & I. 20 minute wait and I got my eggs & bacon on :)
From this morning, a glorious beautiful day in Austin, with two awesome kids and a thin me! So different 2 years ago!
