Snowing on May 1st. Gotta love Colorado.
Sweet mother of mercy! I do not envy you! I am in Canada and sitting in a sun-warmed patio drinking coffee right now! I hope it doesn't stay too long!,

That just doesn't seem fair. Although, I'm happy that you are sitting in the sunny patio, I feel a strong pang of jealousy that makes me wi**** was me. But, we REALLY need the precip, so I will swallow my bitterness at sitting in my office sitting under every blanket I own and seriously thinking about running for a pair of gloves. I only wish I had someone else in the house that could get the gloves for me.
It's only supposed to last one day, so I will force myself to enjoy watching the snow fall.

yikes Slim, snow in colorado? I am flying there tomorrow and then driving. hope its not a bad bunch. last time got stuck overnight in denver. actually will be staying there overnight on purpose this time but hope its not a mess.
traveling back to see my mom who is failing. even though it will be stressful i am not worried about weight and overeating. weird huh? we shall see. diane

Weather monkeys say it should be done snowing by this evening. Depending on where you are driving, the roads should be clear. The mountains might still be bad tomorrow.
So sorry that your mom has taken a bad turn. I'll keep positive thoughts for you and your family.
