Daily Maintenance Weigh-In: Monday April 29th, 2013
Thanks! It's 25 hours a week next year - possibly going to fulltime the year after that. The school is adding on a wing (another 1000+ students) next year, so they will probably need the fulltime person.
I'm excited to get the extra fun money. And, the kids are great (I've been volunteering for a while).
152.5, happy there right now. I'm rushing around like an INSANE person trying to get out of town.
Congrats, Slim. And head up.... you're doing fabulous woman!

getting ready to leave town. my mom is not doing well - end stages of Parkinsens. But at least the travel and work will be so much easier with 125 lbs of fat gone.
Slim, congrats on getting the job. and instead of giving yourself a tongue lashing, why not give yourself a pep talk! much more pleasant. D

100.2 lbs today.
Just got back from a perfect weekend in Yosemite. It was something of a strenuous weekend so I ate more carbs than usual, which felt....strange. They did keep me going though, and didn't seem to affect my weight so that's good. Today is probably the real test to see if I start to crave carby food since I had more than my usual over the weekend. We shall see...

fabby about the job! really glad to hear about it. vol to job is a great way to go -- the way i've gotten my last two jobs. and we just started someone here on the mental health hotline where i work who had been a volunteer.
diane, i'm sorry about your mom. my partner's father is also at the end stage part of the spectrum of Parkinson's, went right down hill suddenly in Feb, 24 hr care in home right now. my mother-in-law had been his caretaker alone for the 15 yrs or so since his diagnosis. it's an awful, awful disease. sending big hugs.
