Congratulations on your weight loss and for reaching goal.

I can't say anything that you don't already know as you have been so very successful in losing plus am not a medical professional, so if in doubt perhaps you might want to talk to your Dr.

Not very helpful I know.

Perhaps go back to the basics of keeping a food and exercise diary.  That way you can see just what is what.

All the best.

If you're not already doing it, start tracking and measuring your food. When I saw a few pounds creeping on, I did this, made the needed changes, and the pounds came off. It was slow, but the upward trend was reversed. Also, I hope you are still exercising.

Yes definitely exercising, not really sure how this happened but a few pounds don't scare me as much as a few more and a few more u get it

When I noticed some pants getting snug, I told myself that "this is unacceptable." I started tightening up things and 4-5 lbs came off, but was slow going and took a few months.

Very helpful to know that it took you a few months.  I have been logging and increasing my exercise and my approach does not seem to be yielding may results.  I need to lose 6 lbs.  It seems I go back and forth, but not consistently down.  Life has been stressful and I have been abusing caffeine and sugar to cope and I have a muffin top in my jeans to prove it.

I toyed with doing that 5 day thing, I know how ridiculous crash dieting is and thankfully,  I'm not quite that desperate yet, but I did buy some shakes.  I never tolerated them, so not sure why I think I would now.  I have went back to trying to eat my calories instead of wasting them on coke.

Got my HR monitor back so hoping that helps shed accurate light on my calorie burn.

I really tightened up my eating and have eating pretty clean. I also increased the intensity and frequency of my exercise, since I was slacking in this area. The weight loss has been ounces per week. I never reduced my calories real low, except for a couple of weeks that I had a cold and my appetite was nonexistent.

Clean eating is the key and food tracking. Those two things are my best friends.

I don't eat out much and I bring my meals to work with me. I prepare my food for the week on Sunday and put the items in small food containers, so I can just grab them in the morning.

Cut out the sugar and processed foods to begin with.

If you want to see my food diary, I am "birdgal" on MFP . Send me a friend request and it be open to you.

If the pounds are still hanging around after a few weeks, then it sounds like it's time to address them and cut things back a *****anges in hydration or water retention can cause some temporary gain, but if it stays with you week after week, then it's probably with you until you take some action. I will frequently pick up 3-4 lb when I travel, presumably from increased sodium intake from eating out more along with altered activity levels, but they normally drop back off within a week once I return home and get back into normal routine.
