Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday 4/25

155.0 this morning, down a pound from yesterday. Again, whatever, all is well for now.

Actually feel pretty good. I'm hurting, but it's manageable (seriously, when did my life turn into such that "manageable pain" is a good thing?). Two doctors appointments today - my yearly appointment and therapy. And I need an allergy shot. I have a new gadget coming in the mail today, so it's good that I'll be busy this morning and not stalking the mailman.

I won with the dealership yesterday. I guess they didn't have a choice since I refused to pick up the van until it was fixed. They gave me a loaner that I have until Monday, I leave town on Tuesday. Their special tech isn't available until Thursday, but I'll be back on Saturday. If they van isn't ready, they'll give me another loaner. Whatever. I find my bull**** meter is pretty low as I get older. LOL. I have a really nice Dodge Avenger right now (sedan meets sports car), but I really really miss my Caravan. I want my backup camera and to sit high on the road. Gah, I'm SUCH a mom. LOL! In 10 years when they're gone, I'm scoring myself something awesome like a Charger.

151.0 I felt like I could eat my arm off yesterday. Not hunger. Just not ever satisfied. Ugh.

Also went to the adult karate class last night. Now I remember why I stopped going.

Crazy busy day. But I will try to fit in some time to see the chiropractor.

I had the same "unsatisfied feeling" yesterday.  Ugh.  

I'll make it a three for-all on this point!

It didn't help that I was designing a cake and making the decorations for a friends congratulations cake.

She is a transwoman, so its going to be a butter cake inside with a marzipan icing that I am going to airbrush from a subtle blue to pink.  Then I will have fondant swags on the sides with seven fondant roses - one in full bloom and one smaller one in red to symbolize her new love.  Two pink roses for each of her kids, and two white roses to symbolize her friendship with Thomas and I.  Finally a yellow rose for her ex-wife.

I haven't started making all of this yet, but just the thought process made me want a piece of cake.  The Fondant work starts tonight.

I may just say screw all that and make a carrot cake with white chocolate swiss buttercream icing.

Damn. Now I want a piece of THAT cake.

Very sweet of you to make her a cake. She's going to love it. Hell, I love it and I don't even get to see it, smell it, or taste it.

OMG. I'm laughing so hard I'm going to, literally, pee myself. I'm a woman nearing 40 that's had 2 kids you know... that's dangerous.
