Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Wednesday 4/17
Good morning. I am all packed for my road trip (hooray). One of the joys of my weight loss is that I can now over pack, whereas before I always had to under pack. I estimate that any given garment now takes about half the space in luggage of that same garment when I was 300+ lbs. So I can comfortably pack for 5 days in what used to be a bag for the weekend.
The down side is that I had to pack sweatshirts and sweaters. Just when it's getting into the 70's every day here, I go to Michigan. What's up with that?
This week's weight 137.0
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
Hi Mom!
Yes, it certainly makes it much easier, doesn't it? My business trips are easier for sure and I can take the "medium" suitcase instead of the large one. It's definitely nice!
151.9 - just over a pound lost today. Dude, this girl is on FIRE right now. Best losing streak in a LONG time, but I'm REALLY pushing those calories down because I really want to see that 150 goal. Once I see it, I'll start adding calories back and seeing if I can truly maintain for a bit. Going to bite the bullet and make that plastics consult soon. Made the decision yesterday, just going to do it.
Going out tonight with some girlfriends. Always fun, we always get one of the significant others to bartend - rule is they have to be shirtless. LOL.
PS - any MFP maintenance users with open diaries? I'll be looking for some new and interesting ideas and figure I can stalk a few.

Good morning - 156.6 today. I'm not on here as much lately, because as those of you on MFP know, my husband has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, so life is very hard right now. I don't plan on being a downer and posting about that frequently, but I do want and need to remain a part of this group. I have to take care of myself, not my weight specifically, but getting good quality nutrition. Ans sleep which is evading me at times.
So thrilled for you Candy - and Mom, have a fun, safe trip!
Judy
Post as much as you need, whereever you need. Much thoughts for you ((HUGS))

I'm so sorry to hear this. My mother is in chemo right now for a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer, so I know how you feel. I'm glad you're posting here because it's important that you take care of yourself. I'll be sending good thoughts your way....
