Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Saturday 4/13

SFChorus
on 4/13/13 1:10 am - CA

Good morning all!

99.2 lbs today.  It's a recovery day for me, after all the hiking and climbing from yesterday.  I worked pretty hard all day, so did some off plan eating when we got back (yummy, greasy Chinese food!!!) and I don't regret a single minute of it! Actually, the best part of the day was managing my food so I didn't bonk (that is, run out of energy entirely) at all.  Bonking is really what I most worry about on an outdoor climbing day because they tend to be long days of just go-go-go with no breaks.

Okay, enough about me.  What's everybody up to this weekend?

150.8 - will be upping my water. I do so much better when I get in 13-14 cups a day. Been around 11 lately and i can tell the difference.

Nothing much going on here.

You all have a wonderful day!

Did not go out last night, but coffee kept me up too late..

Today: making some coconut flour gelatin pancakes (trying a new recipe, if it's as good as it says- I'll post) then start taxes.. then off to see a good friend who is moving to CA (it seems ALL our friends are moving there recently.. what the heck CA, don't you have enough cool people already??)

She's ditching a lot of stuff before she drives herself and her cat out there to join her BF.. so this is a wine/dinner sort through crap evening- should be fun.

I think I'm going to try weighing in every Weds am.. till then, I'm just going to continue to pop in here and say hi. The main VSG board has already pegged my annoyance meter.. that was fast. I know I sound like a snob, but people just do not bother to educate themselves then they spread the  myths and mis-information around to other gullible folks..

I'm on a break from the main forum and I'm really liking it. A lot. Don't know when I will go back. or if I even will. I'm past it. They now have enough 6 month-9 month post-ops who want to impart their newly gained wisdom. I don't feel the need to correct the "new" vets (i.e. the ones less than a year out who feel they have it figured out).

I just shake my head at some of the postings and the "insights" that the new "vets" have. I am 2.5 years out and still learning maintenance . Losing weight was the easy part compared with trying to maintain the weight loss. IMHO .

154.8 **happy dance** The end is near. .3 until normal BMI and less than 5 pounds until "goal" - whatever the **** that is.

Swelling a little in my legs this morning, managed to get breakfast with my daughter, make a stop at Target and the post office, now going to take some pain meds so I can walk around at the Spring Fest at hubby's school later. The pain IS markedly better today - I'd say better than 50% but I know if I don't take meds now it will take 3 hours to get it under control with all the walking and being on my feet that's coming my way. Better to head it off.

4/15 is Monday, thank goodness. CPAs are morons (okay, some of them... LOL). I'm so over tax season this year. I'll be doing some work this weekend, but mostly taking it easy. I deserve it.

EDIT: Holy ****! The little bottom of the triangle in my signature line ticker is TOUCHING the finish line... come on, little dolphin! Go, baby! LOL... okay, too much coffee... *dances*

121.2

Lurking is better than posting these days. I see why people eventually drop off the boards all together.

Congrats Sleeve girl!

Happy Saturday folks.
