Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Friday 4/12 (TGIF TGIF TGIF!!)
It's been awhile since I weighed in. 129.2 today. I'm still working on getting rid of a few more pounds.
I'm planting my vegetable garden today; can't wait until I have fresh tomatoes from the garden. I'm planting 2 varieties of winter and w different zucchini, 3 different peppers and 7 different varieties of tomatoes. My garlic should be ready to harvest in late May, potatoes in June. I'll plant some melons in a few weeks when the soil is a little warmer.

122 today. i year ago i would have been hyperventalating. now i know its normal and i just have to watch it.
and i have results of my scientific experiment to result. every time i eat a blob of peanut butter in the evening i gain a half pound. two blobs results in a pound. seems bizarre but its like clockwork. yeah, must be the salt and the extra fluid i drink.
slim, i have nut issues too and tend to grab them. sleeved hubby keeps lots around and he is able to eat a lot more than me (rats). so i try to keep grapes around as a "grab" snack with far fewer calories and filling. diane
I have a love-hate affair going on with nuts. If I have a package with a finite amount, I'm ok. But give me a can, a bag, or I get some from the bulk foods at the grocery store, I tend to eat many, many more. I really don't want to admit that nuts are a trigger food for me, but I have too. Damn!!!!!!!!
I do really well with staying away from nuts and protein bars if I have veggies available. Today, I didn't have any veggies, so I had some peanuts.
I completely understand with the peanut butter-- it is terrible for me. It's the fastest way for me to stall. I wi**** wasn't because I could seriously bathe in PB
I might have to go back to the Green Chicken Soup for a while. I'm doing a lot of Elina's Southwestern Red Soup (I think that's what it's called). It's really yummy, but might be a touch high in carbs for me right now.

TGIFF, the extra F is needed this week!
It's been one loooong week.. I'm trying to be a responsible adult and say no to going out to dance/listen to a band tonight.. I think.. then again, I have had so much coffee that I feel like a crazy squirrel with anger issues.. but, I have procrastinated again on taxes as usual and shouldn't' be sleep deprived tomorrow, so much to do.. Drat. DH also has had a day and seems like he wants to blow off some steam, so maybe we might change our minds. Waffle-girl here.. dangle a good time with music and dancing and I'm there (yeah, that was never the way 2 years ago.)
Co-worker's bday (seems like a lot of the crew of 8 have bdays in late winter early spring..)- so lunch on the company. Everyone else got ravioli and meatball subs, I got a grilled chix salad, which did have a generous amount of both chix and cheese.. so I ate the protein off that and saved myself for the cupcake/ice cream at the end of the day. I chose the runt of the litter (seriously, it was the freakishly small one) and had about 4 small bites of ice cream, came home and ate the entire box of leftover salad veggies.. naked, no dressing. Salad is an incredibly satisfying slider for me, so long as there's no protein on it.. I can eat a ton. Put a few chunks of chicken and I get stuffed on the usual baby-portion.
I do appreciate they save the cupcake/dessert/candle routine for the end of the day, no going back for seconds.. just eat and run!

The "classic" Foamy is great.. I'm not sure what happened later, but here's the first & best 200.. enjoy.
Todd thinks the artist is a bit, err.. gotten a little infatuated with his character Germaine, she's changed.. I hadn't looked up foamy for years.. but it obviously left an impression on me.
