Good morning. Got a terrible stiff neck this morning, no idea why. Walking around with my head held very still at an odd angle. Bet I look ridiculous.

This week's weight 136.

I haven't lost any more weight, but my jeans are too big. What's up with that?

Body recomposition, mom.  Trading fat for muscle, perhaps.

174 today.  Worked late, ate dinner very late = up 2 lbs.

158.3 -- happy dance, the lowest I've seen in 3 weeks.

I'm sure getting lots of rest and sleep yesterday helped with all the swelling I was feeling. It seems lower today too. Unfortunately, no real change in my pain level (maybe a LITTLE better). My rear really hurts today more than anything again. I hate how the pain moves around, drives me bat**** crazy, which is a really small trip ;)

Candy - Just wanted to let you know that I really didn't start feeling less pain until after my 3rd round of shots. The first round felt good for like 2 days. The second round lasted a week. I wasn't gonna do the 3rd round, but the anesthesiologist convinced me to do the full thing. At the time, he said I MIGHT get 50% relief. I think I got about 80%.  After the 3rd round - The relief from the pain lasted almost 2 years.

Also, I think I told you before that I went back after 2 years and did 3 round of shots again.

I've been thinking it might be time for a tune-up. It's been 4-5 years since my last round of shots.

*hugs* I really hope it give you some relief.

*stomps foot* I want a magic ******g pill right ******g now!

Grrrr. I hope. It's been going on for years, but never this bad and I'm sick of living at the chiro office. I dunno. I'm hopeful, but I'm also a pessimist. LOL

I'm just hoping to avoid hydro until after 4, when my violin lesson is. I've missed two weeks in a row :(

I also went to a personal trainer for some help with core strengthening. For me, that helped a lot, but I'm not sure it would help everyone. It's also something that you have to keep doing in order to get any long term help from it.

I'd say that the back pain I felt was one of the lowest times in my life. I don't usually experience depression, but I definitely went through a bout of it during that time. The pain is so damn overwhelming and it took up every moment. I remember sitting in the car and wondering if I would be able to get out and walk without being haunched over for the first 30 feet. Getting out of bed in the morning and wondering if I could make it to the bathroom without having to grab onto the wall. The worst for me was the constant feeling like I was stepping on the sharp end of a railroad tie. My kids were 4 and 6 at the time and that just frustrated me more.

I'm thankful to have the lower back pain just in my back now, and not radiating into my legs and feet.

I'll keep positive thoughts for you.

For me, it's the loss of driving. When I'm on pain meds, I can't drive. It SUCKS. That and the pain in my hips/legs.

Sigh, it really is a low point. I'm trying to put on a brave face, but I kind of want climb into bed and wish for death.

I know your pain. I often wondered how long I could live with that much pain.

Morning all:

So very very busy am meeting self coming around the corner.

Up 1.2 pounds from yesterday.  Am not surprised.  After not eating chocolate for almost 18 months I got into the Easter chocolate and ' rewarded' myself with a binge.  Was sick and deserved to be.    Threw the rest away.    Will I EVER ever ever learn as the self-sabotaging seems to continue.

So am 1.1 above goal.    Have to watch it.

Mom I do know what you mean, some clothes just don't fit the same way.

Will not be near a computer for some weeks so will see you all in May.  Have the best time.
