Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Monday 4/1
Our old bikes are very nice, expensive mountain bikes - kind of like handing down a Mercedes. So, I don't feel bad for the kids.
We're older now and we want bikes that are a little more friendly on our hinde ends. We'll let the kids have the super tight suspensions. Ouch, hurts my butt just thinking about it.

3 or 4 days in a row means it's the real deal, no? Awesome work. Congrats!

100.6 lbs today.
Starting to plan climbing trips to Yosemite, Tahoe and Joshua Tree. Its going to feel good to be on real rock again, instead of "pulling plastic" at the gym. I need to re-work my outdoor climbing clothes as temperature control is going to be a bigger deal now - post-op - then it's ever been before.
I'm also planning to incorporate some long distance swimming into my outdoor routine. For that, I'll need a wetsuit as California lakes are basically snow-melt so they're cold. Still, I can't wait!
Have a good day everybody! Onward ho!

Hi All! Back to a typical day after three crazy, busy, tiring, emotional days away. We saw the pediatric neurologist and he is suspecting ADHD and some sleep issues rather than a seizure disorder. Seems it's possible to faint and have what looks like a seizure as a result. The doc is delving further, as my little one has several risk factors for both seizures and ADHD, so there's testing to do before we get a diagnosis. We'd already asked for a meeting at school for an eval. because of some issues. I just want my sweet little girl to be okay. The rest of the weekend was busy as all get out and included fun stuff, but also lots of attitude from my 14 yr. old. Teens can be such fun, cnn't they!!!
I have to admit I got back into nuts and ate too much, hence my weight was 181.5 this morning. I'm trying to eat more cleanly today. Have a good Monday everyone!
My son has inattentive ADHD (which means ADD). I honestly didn't realize how bad life was until he went off of it for a Summer (the pediatrician made the mistake of saying we can try it and he REFUSED to take it 2 years ago for most of that Summer). He's actually pretty good now about taking it. He takes off the weekends but if we have a function to go to, like he went to a hockey game with a friend, he took it because he he knows that loud places make his anxiety ratchet up and the medication helps. He's on Vyvance. Totally changed our lives around here. Hang in there and if you have any questions, I can try to help. HUGS
