149.8 - Happy Easter!
I went to church in my new, shorter-than-I-remember-when-I-tried-it-on-in-the-store, dress. Asked hubby is my hoochie was hanging out the back. He said no and I looked beautiful. So, I put my brave on and wore the dress, butt floss and all, to church. I felt very beautiful which is new for me.
Today is Easter at my SIL's house. This always involves food. Last night, while making a Triple Chocolate Cake, I decided to devise a plan for how to handle food. I'm usually really good until the junk **** food comes out. Also, this cake I make happens to be pure heaven. Heavy chocolate cake with chocolate chips mixed in and a milk chocolate gnash (gnosh?). So, I bought a Quest brownie protein bar that I plan to have as my dessert. Then I plan to get the activities OFF food. Finally, if I just really feel like I want a piece of the cake, I'm going to have one - AFTER I get in 10 glasses of water.
Everyone have a wonderful day!

Sounds like a good plan. Now I want some of your chocolate cake :-)

Ruggie - how's the wedding planning going?
As far as people who are sick... I will tell you that when I broke my head and my surgeon said to get below 800 calories and lose almost 10 pound in 1 month, I said NO. My philosophy is that, when you are sick, you take care of the sick. When you are well, you can take care of the weight.
This is not to say I did nothing about my weight. I did fight my weight gain during that time so that it would not spiral out of control. But my first priority was my health. Now my health is a lot better, not 100% but well enough that I can think about my weight. So now I am and it is slowly coming off.
