120 today and happy of it. gotta run to the store for chicken livers to make pate for my friends at easter dinner. they demand it and i make a load of it for take home. It used to  be one of my favorite things but now i don't eat it much any more. too fattening. so liberating to not feel like a holiday is all about how many calories i can consume. but the evil dessert queen is making a carrot cake and its to die for. guess i will have to eat a little.

Slim, your posts are so hilarious. I say eat the green chicken soup rather than too many protein shakes.    diane

Thanks Diane.

I'm in a slightly better place, mostly because I had human food and  only had my normal morning shake. I'm back on soup and hamburgers, no bun.

Your pate is making my mouth water.

157.8  today - gee - could it have been the french fries I wolfed down after work on the way to a dr. appt?

I love this board. I love hearing from all of you. Slim - you are hilarious, but you do take all of this very seriously. And Candy, having recently had a knee replacement, almost a year to the day after my VSG, I get how you are feeling. I just hope there are some non-surgical answers for your situation.

Actually no big Easter plans for us. Family is all out of town. But just a quiet weekend sounds nice - supposed to have showers all weekend.

Well, I'm in my 40's so I'm required to get all up tight and butt-hurt about stupid little things. In my 20's I knew everything. I had toddlers in my 30's and that entire decade was a bust - major loss of brain cells. Now, I'm doing the 40's which means I have to be stressed and uptight about stupid stuff. My brother is in his 50's and he says that's when the fun begins.
