Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Wednesday 3/27

Good morning. Today is humpday, hooray. This week has already felt three weeks long.

This week's weight 136.2. That's down 2 lbs from last week but honestly I think I was retaining fluid the last couple of weeks due to the travel and such. This is where I was about 3 weeks ago.

I have been trying to 'think Spring' but based on the weather my thinking doesn't appear to be working. I may never be warm again.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

I hear you! I'm freezing. That groundhog lies.

160.2, bouncing back down, still 1 over my lowest, it's been two weeks so over the next week, I should drop a pound or two if history holds. Whatever. One thing this whole journey has taught me is patience and to just let it go.

Also, anyone want a 12 and a half year old boy? He's going through puberty, eats like a horse, won't get up in the morning and has an overall bad attitude. I know, it's hard to resist!

Morning:

It is cold here as well.  The daffodils are waving their heads in disbelief.  But the birds are singing their heads off and it is so nice to hear.

Down .1 so am 159.8.

Hope that we all have a warm smooth day, including the 12 year old.

I love hearing the birds sing and seeing the daffodils wave in the wind. What a wonderful picture.

I'm getting back in range. During nov through jan, I put on 3-4 lbs and have slowly been taking it off. I was ranging between 112-114, which was high for me and I was feeling it in my clothes . I started tracking my food, eliminated some foods that had crept in, more exercise, dropped my calories some, but I think the clean eating helped me to get back into range. My range has been 108-110. It may be back up tomorrow, but overall I know that I am down and my clothes fit me like they usually do. Maintainence is challenging, but the tools work, when practiced consistently . Slow and steady wins the race for me.

Great information! I've also seen that the people who have a "range" tend to stay in it better. Also, they seem to have a high weight that sets off an alarm for them.

All things I plan to have when I get to goal.
