Because I am a glutton for punishment, I am volunteering to help with set designs for my daughter's middle school play. It should be loads of fun...
Also contributing to the festivities is snow - 6-12 inches. Woot!
Sunday my kids have said they will start accepting applications for a new mother and father if we don't take them to see a movie.
You all have a fantastic day.
161.5 this morning, still bloated and gross feeling - and made a few poor choices. Today is a new day. My daughter is home with a hurt back today, so we're off to the doctor and to the chiro, I'm sure. Usually the chiro fixes it up, but I figure I'll ask a doctor to look at her in case we're missing something, this happens every few weeks :(
Cupcake decorating class with the same daughter tomorrow. We always have fun!

Hi All! I haven't posted in a few days. I have to admit I fell into an old habit of avoidance. My weight went up a couple of pounds. I know it was mostly water weight, as I had been eating foods with too much salt for a few days and my ankles were puffy, but I let feelings of shame take over and boom, I was back to just avoiding the issue. I hate that I still let old crap creep in, and don't deal with it for a bit. But I do know that I need to be here, so regardless of where my head is at, here I am. Today's weight was 181.2 - a little higher than I like, but still in range.
On another note, I had a consult for knee replacement surgery, last week. My surgeon is leaving the practice, so I had my choice of 2 others in that practice. She said they were both equally good, but the one she recommended would be more open to my aggressive recovery/back to work plan. I have heard good things about this surgeon, from many others, so I'm ok with him. I'm planning on the surgery in early June, once recital is over, and my daughter's birthday gift of a concert in RI has happened. I am waffling a little, as it's a big step for me. However, though the amount varies from day to day, I'm in pain all of the time, even when in bed, so I will probably do it. I am still researching though, as I need to have all the info I can get to make my final decision - just like WLS. Have a great Friday!

99.8 lbs today. I stopped tracking my food this week. I don't know yet if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I've also given up my daily protein bars over the past month, but am eating more quinoa and beans. I'm being careful to keep my protein up, even though I'm not tracking it gram for gram on MFP. This is an experiment of sorts, and so far so good.
Climbing this weekend, then errands. Have a good one, all!
