Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday 3/14
Good morning. This week's weight: 138.4
Crazy day at work, plus my brother in law passed away last night (not unexpected, he had stage 4 cancer) so I may be traveling in the next few days.
Hope everyone is having a good week.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
I'm so very sorry about your BIL. That's tough, no matter if it was expected or not. You'll be in my thoughts, mom!
159.4 this morning, so up .2. Totally not unexpected as I didn't get all my sleep yesterday and ate some crap while at the video shoot. We had a blast and I'm back at it today. I noticed last night that I finally have some truly empty skin hanging from the bottom of my stomach. Nice to see it emptying out and that I'm not crazy (shut up). That feels weird to say and share, but there it is.
Photos are from this weekend (my new dress, which I rock out... is that really ME???) and from the music video (so much fun, can't wait to see the finished product in a month or two)
Obligatory thank you to flickr.com :)

Sorry about your loss Cancer is such an ugly disease.
Candy the shoot looks like a lot of fun!

Sorry to hear about BIL, mom. My brother is fighting cancer too, was told this week that they've exhausted all options but clinical trial drugs... ugh.
Sleevegirl - you look great!
175 today.
Bodyfat checked yesterday by the BodPod machine... the news was pretty good.
Since Oct 30 (4.5 months) i've dropped from 16.3% to 12.7%. Weight loss about 8 lbs, gain of a few pounds of lean mass.
I think the drop in fat % is corroborated by pants (drop from a tight 32 to a well-fitting 30 inch), shirts (dropped from L to M in most shirts) - not to mention the 'moobs' seem to actually have shrunk quite a bit.
So while my weight is at the high end of my maintenance range, my body seems to be continuing to re-compose itself in positive ways. I plan to keep doing the BodPod every 4 months or so as it keeps another data point in there. I guess I'm ok weight a bit more as long as it's muscle (or even water). As long as the fat is 10-12% I'm very happy.

Mom - I am very sorry for your loss. Expected or not, it is so painful.
Candy - you look awesome! I have not been brave enough to try a dress yet - haven't worn one in years, but you are inspiring!
158.0 today. Eating way too much crap. Weight is still fine, but I am developing bad habits - need to switch gears.

Mom, sorry to hear about your BIL. My mother was diagnosed with a particularly difficult cancer about six weeks ago. She's been signed up for a clinical trial and begins chemo soon, then surgery. I'm sending good vibes to you and your family.
Candy, you look great!
99.8 lbs today. Can't wait for this week to be over.

I am so sorry to hear about your Brother-In-Law Mom. If you are going to be traveling, I wish you safe travels.
That darn scale is not cooperating with me these days. I need to lower my sugar intake, and I know it, but because I am stuck on the sugar rollercoaster, it is so hard to get it under control again. The cravings become insatiable.
166.8 today.
Take care everyone and have a good day.
