Sorry, everyone, and thanks for posting SFChorus. Daughter's boyfriend's family had a death in the family. Not unexpected, a terminal cancer patient, but she went quite quickly (probably a mercy for her, but hard on the family). Anyway, we got a call, I rushed out the door and didn't even think about the weigh in until late in the day. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Today's weight: 136.2, dead center of the range I've been bouncing in.

Hope your week is starting well.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

Sorry for your daughter's loss, Mom.

148.4 - a new low. If you heard singing from the Rockies, that was probably me.

12 inches of snow and only a 30 minute delay for high school. 1 hour delay for middle school. There is large amounts of whining in my house right now. Gotta love Colorado.

So it appears watching over a couple hundred middle schoolers is a great calorie burning activity for you. Still saying never again?

As of today - the "never" still stands. But...who knows.

I can empathize!  Last April I went on a week long trip with 170 people - some chaperones, but the vast majority were 8th graders.  On paper, I was only responsible for my daughter, but another mother had 4, so we joined forces and I gave her breaks to just be with her daughter, at other times, giving me 4 to keep track of.  Overall, the girls behaved, but there were some moments when they all drove me crazy - especially mine!  I'm fool enough though, that I plan on going again when my youngest is in 8th grade (she's in 2nd now).  I sure did get my exercise and dropped a few lbs. that week! :)

We avoided the 8th grade trip to DC by taking the entire family and my dad and step mom to DC last summer. I think we will do something like that again after 8th grade for my daughter (summer 2014). I can't even imagine actually traveling with a bunch of 8th graders. Ugh. No.

178.9 (or was it .7?) this morning.

Sorry for your loss mom.  I'm sure your daughter was very appreciative of the support you gave her.

The sun is shining today after several inches of wet snow yesterday.  Another storm is predicted for Wed.  Spring cannot come soon enough!!!
