Ok, anybody out there think that being sleeved causes an increase in "breaking wind"?  Being in a totally sleeved household (family of me and hubby plus dogs) it seems like there is a lot of passing of gas around here. Or is it just that we are getting old and don't care about such things anymore.   D.

Eating high protein causes an increase in 'breaking wind'. I think it's mostly the diet.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

I love it when you speak French, lol!  Honestly, I don't think I have any more gas, than before.

I was less for a long time. Then I was the same. Then I was more. Now I'm less again.

Does that help? LOL

Flax does it to me.  So do chia seeds.  But then, maybe it's just cuz I'm old too.  LOL

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Definitely more for me, and I hate it!  I recently made some changes in my diet and went to mostly plant based foods and protein powders and that has made all the difference in the world.  My gerd is better, and I'm having BM's without magnesium pills.  All around my stomach is way way better. I needed to get off the whey.  What a difference.
