Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Saturday 2/23

Because you are at goal, this is an excellent idea. I always take higher carb protein bars on my long hikes for this reason. While you were losing, your body had plenty of resources to draw from, but nowadays it doesn't.

Be sure to chose foods that aren't going to be a downfall for you on non-workout days!

So Snickers and Doritos are not appropriate post-workout foods - Damn! :)

We were encouraged today to start learning how (and what) to eat during endurance rides.  I tried beef jerky and almonds.  Sat well during the workout, and so far my hunger isn't there - so maybe I just got too depleted Thursday and it caught up to me on Friday.  

I'm still living in fear of carbs... We'll see.  I'm not clear on the ability to go 100miles on a bike without a few along the way, but some low-carb advocates seem to think it's better that way.  I'll have to experiment.

I'm hanging around 126. I saw 125 for a few seconds and I think I'll see it again but not today.
