Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Saturday 2/23

In a few minutes I'll be taking some meds that will knock me on my butt. I will wake up when I wake up, which may be early or late. Thought I'd throw this up tonight so it's there when folks look for it in the morning.

And I'm up. Today's weight 135.8.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

Volunteering backstage tonight. 200 middle schooler for 3 hours.

Today 121.4.
I have done the insanity workout w hubby 2x this week. I rested last night and even has a tiny piece of cake.
Scale went down this morning! LOL
I'm trying to stay between 120-123.
We shall see.

Yesterday my eating felt a bit out of control.  The cycling workouts I've been doing have been merciless, burning 1500+ calories per workout.  I'm pretty sure they are the issue, and that what I'm feeling is muscles screaming for glycogen replenishment - which I'm not giving as I remain low-carb.

I may have to experiment a little with During/Immediate-post workout carb replenishment if this continues to be a pattern. Perhaps the muscles need a refill, and my understanding is that carbs immediately post-WO go straight to muscles, and don't cause an insulin spike.... The hunger  hasn't affected my weight (well, i guess it could be preventing additional loss as I'm stable in the upper 160s) but I sure don't like the feeling.

Anybody have any similar experiences or guidance on big workout days?  I'm doing 3 a week, and maybe it's cumulative.  I just came from Saturday's class, where again, 2 hours of serious intensity were dealt out.
