Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday 2/21
Still 126 and sulking about it. LOL
I need to chill, I think. I'm back in dieting mentality where I have a cow if I don't lose every day.

Wow Mom, that sounds pretty painful. I'm glad you're feeling better and am hoping you'll baby that shoulder for as long as it takes to heal.

So glad you didn't get hurt worse, Mom. That sounds scary.
151.0 - mutha fucka - re-reevaluating what I am eating, but there just isn't much I can take away. I think my fat intake might be too high, so I'm going to focus on that.
Son had to go in for a second surgery this morning. Bone splinter in his gums - some weird thing that happens to 10 people a year. He couldn't swallow and wasn't eating for the last two days. He's home and resting now, feels a lot better. He's heading to TSA (Technical Student association) state finals tonight. It goes all weekend. He plans to soldier through it.
My daughter has a choir program Friday night and Saturday night. I'm volunteering Saturday to babysit a bunch of hyped up middle schoolers backstage because I like to impose punishments on myself from time to time.
Also, I may have a part-time job at a library, my personal heaven. The woman is retiring and they've asked me if I would be interested. Uh, YES!!!! Books are awesomesauce with whipped cream and a cherry on top. I can still work my home business, too. WOOT!
Lots of stress at the slim household, but it should ease up next week.
How many grams of fat a day are you eating? Fat content shouldn't be an issue as long as your calories are under control (the flaw with fats is their calorie count; fat doesn't make you fat). Are you watching your carbs?
Also, how much are you drinking? When I hit 100 grams of protein and 100 oz of water a day, my loss took off.
Stress may be contributing to the issue, though. Stress and lack of sleep play games with our weight.
I chaperoned 6 middle-school girls at Hershey Park one time. It was mobbed because there was a choir competition in the Hershey area. My entire day was spent counting them. Go through a turnstile....123456...into line...123456...on the ride...123456...out the exit...123456...around a corner...123456. I swear I counted 'em 100 times during that day.

I started drinking a chai tea I make at home with Breve (half and half) and SF coffeemate. The other problem is that I've been on the run so much in the last week, I've turned to protein bars again. It's weird this time around - I don't really like them. I'm not craving them. I just literally get to 3 pm and go "**** I haven't eaten." My biggest problem is that I don't eat one - I always eat 2.
The other culprit is almonds. I count them out and have one serving, UNLESS I'm on the run.
Today I've eaten this:
B: protein shake (while I was sitting in the surgeon's office)
S: 2 protein bars (they are small and very low carb - 10 total carbs each, but still had 2 of them - picked them up when I had to run and get more "soft" food for my son)
L: Green Chicken Soup, serving of broccoli
S; almonds
D: will be out because of the state competition and the fact that my hubby won't be home until 8:30-9 pm
I haven't had the chai tea as I think I'm going to stay away from it for a few days. I was using it as a "sweet" thing for the afternoons, but I'm going to stop for a bit and see what happens.
The protein bars kill me every time and I know this. But, having something when my days are this busy is a struggle and I tend to turn to something easy. I only bought the 2 protein bars, so I don't have anymore here, thank goodness. They are my demon.
I haven't entered everything into my food log yet, so I don't know the exact numbers, but doing a quick count, I'm at about 770 calories, 70 protein, 32 carbs. I don't count fat, so I don't know what it would be.
I just finished 56 oz of water out of my normal 100 oz a day.
That's so funny that you talked about the counting heads thing. I'm already devising a plan to deal with them all wanting to go to the bathroom a hundred times - and of course in gossipy little groups.
