What would you ask bariatric patient's at least 2 years post-op?

The over reliance on the fact that we have had WLS to lose the weight and keep it off and NOT the fact that you have to watch what you eat, why you eat and the amount you eat.

Correlate diet type to long-term results - eg. Low-carb vs. no specific plan.  Or rigorous tracking of food intake vs. not...

I think the hardest part is finding people who had WLS who are not on a forum like this... I'd think if you just used forums you'd end up with a somewhat skewed view of results.

I want to know about high protein (90 grams a day of protein) and success or failure of the patient at 3 plus years out.

Also about carb intake of over (30% or higher) and success or failure of the patient at 3 plus years out.

I want to know about bone density, or lack there of, and acid inhibitors.  Okay, that might be off track.

I want to know about cancer rates of those who have had the sleeve, vs those who have not had the sleeve and had remained obese.
