Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Monday 2/4

180 this morning.  Too many salty things at a Super Bowl get together at friends'.  This weekend went ok, but was a little hard.  My parents' birthdays were only 2 days apart, and Saturday was my mom's.  She's been gone a long time, so that day is usually ok now.  But this year, with my dad's recent death, the Super Bowl - my dad was a huge football fan - and today being his birthday, I had some sad moments over the past few days.  Oh well, such is life.   I like to think they were celebrating together for the first time in 32 years! :)

Are weekends ever long enough?  NO!

I want a plan where I work at a job two days a week and get 5 off.  I think that sounds fair!

Late in the day... just arrived at our NJ apartment.

171.3 today.  Getting back down to the lower end of my maintenance range.

Bought my new bike for this year's attempt at a "Century" ride.... will pick it up on Thursday and get it fitted.

Exciting!  At my old weight I would have exceeded the design goals for the "beefy" version of the frame and especially the wheels ("heavy duty wheels: 190-225 pounds).  Now I can buy the normal version wheels for people below 190 lbs.
