Wondering if your sleeve makes so much noise???

Hello all hope all is well with you in 2013. My question to you all is wondering if after you drink does your sleeve make a lot of noise. Mine is so loud last night my husband woke me up because it was making so much noise. I am on two prevacid  pills a day one in the am and the other just before bed. When this happens it is not hunger pain. I hardly ever  get hungry.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Yes Ma'am!  I have the same issue.  It was worse before I up-ed my Nexium to twice a day.  It's not hunger for me either.  I can't pin it down when It is going to happen.  It seems to be sporadic.  It can be a tad embarrassing.  But not nearly as embarrassing as being obese was.  I usually apologize for it, and even sometimes pretend it's not me, shrug my shoulders and look at someone else.  :).

To funny cricket. I also apologize for the noise. I just wonder why this happens. I never heard it when I had a full stomach. Taking my prevacid twice a day has not helped. I think I will ask if I can take it three times a day. Or try another kind of pill for it.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

seems like earlier on it made a lot of noise that sounded like aliens invading. but it settled down. but it still can do it after over 3 years. Just went to the movies tonight (zero dark thirty - it was great) and tummy started being noisy during the previews. glad it settled down by the tense moments. we live in a small town and there were only about 8 people in the theater and so I wasn't masked by people rummaging around in their popcorn!   yeah, its seems to be triggered by food or fluid. i take a tums sometimes but not sure it reeally works.  diane

I'll preface this by saying my hunger never went away :)  But, my stomach never growls when I'm hungry.

My stomach "growls" (or gurgles)  almost always during/after eating lunch.  Weirdly, it doesn't seem to make noise after breakfast/dinner.  I just finished up 2 ounces of shrimp, and am eating a tiny bag of carrots right now.. and, on cue, my tummy is making a weird noise as it starts to process my food.  It's a little embarrassing, but I can live with it :)  It makes this noise even if I'm on an acid reducer...

I have been paying attention to my sleeve now for 24 hours. When I eat no noise. When I drink it is so loud gurgles for 1 hour on and off. Last night I took my pills before bed and went to sleep. My husband woke me up again saying your stomach is making so much noise. I think I will take my pills 2 hours before I go to sleep than it will not gurgle when we want to sleep. I will find out tonight.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.
