Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Sunday 1/19
Morning.
Today's weight 135.4, Yay! Let's see if we can keep there (still hoping to inch back to 140 eventually)
Got some kinda poison, itch, itch, itch, joy, joy, joy. We've been trying to get the land cleared of such, but obviously I picked some up somewhere.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
Ugh. Week of insanity ends with 174 - up 4 lbs. Travel, travel, and working too much this week (zero formal exercise)... plus hosted our annual work party at our house (80 people).
I think eating food that I don't prepare is a mess because there's way too much sodium. Spending time in NY where restaurants have to post the number of calories in every dish is eye-opening as well. Stuff that sounds healthy can have a crazy amount of calories in it - not to mention massive sodium.
Well - I know my calories were not too far off target this week, so I'm blaming the 4 lb bounce on lack of exercise and sodium. Hit the bike yesterday (I didn't want to but I'm glad I did) and have my "long" day today.
My hunger levels have definitely been increasing lately so I have to be extra vigilant...
Heaviest: 313/VSG Pre: 295/Surgery: 260/Maintenance target:190 - Recent: 195 (08/15/19)

Sodium is hard to avoid-especially when eating out!
Mom-take care of that rash! Hope the itch stops soon.

today's weigh in 177.0
I seem to go up and down 2-4lbs, but as long as I stay under 180 I'm good with that. I'm signed up for two 1/2 marathons, one in April and the other in June, so I have to keep up on my running. I just need to keep my eating in check. I catch myself wanting to go back to some of my old comfort foods for some reason. However, thank goodness I have my wife there to keep me on track. My wife had her WLS back in September, so it is GREAT to have that extra support and accountability. I hope you all enjoy this extended weekend.
