Not sure why you need a liver cleanse, but I was on a 3-day liquid only diet before surgery.

JMO, you might contact Elina and ask her to take a look at your daily diet. I bet Elina will even offer to do this for you. You might even think about looking at Elina's profile. She has some fantastic soups that really help to reset hunger and are fantastic for getting back into losing weight.

I suspect that what you really need is to clean up your eating. Maybe add in some more glasses of water/fluids. The bad stuff can tend to creep back in.

Good luck.

Well for most it wasn't a liver detox it was just a reduction in calories to shrink the liver so it would be more manageable for your surgeon to navigate.  i pretty much diet for the two weeks before and just took in considerably less calories, I'm thinking 1000-1200.

On this site people will tell you to go back to basics.  600-800 cals 30-40 carbs depending on whether you want to do the low carb route.   There are those who go back to the beginning to shakes but this is difficult if you're appetite has increased which if you're gaining it probably has.  Good Luck.

You don't need a liver detox, unless something is wrong with your liver.

I also had a 30lb regain between years 2 and 3, but I lost it again and it was no quick fix or jump start, I worked my ass off and logged my food and it still took me 8 months, but IT IS DOABLE. You have to get down to your "truth" with food. If you want to read my story, click on my name.

Best of Luck,

I don't think you need a detox. The liver issue before surgery was to get some of the fatty stuff off it so it would not be in the way surgically.

Back to basics is my best suggestion. Protein first. Cut out junk carbs. Drink lots of calorie-free fluids. And log your eating to see how many calories you are really taking in. Calorie creep is the root cause of regain, and seeing where those calories have crept in will not only help you lose, but help you avoid regain in the future.

Also, you can't really "detox". Unless you only breath pure oxygen and drink distilled water and nothing else. "Toxins" are everywhere, in the air, in the water, etc.
