Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Monday 1/14
Oooh noooo! Not the Monday!! Yep. It's Monday again. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
Today's weight 134.0
This morning's temperature at 7:00 AM is supposed to be the high for the week. It's all down hill from here. Brrrr. Already ready for spring. I did get to ride my new bike while it was warm and absolutely loved it. The suspension is heavenly and it shifts like a dream.

Busy Weekend, even with the horrible weather. GOt a check-up with my Plastic Surgeon today and am going to see if we can schedule my top surgery for the week of Easter.
Glad your bike works like a charm for you. It took me forever to get the shifter on mine adjusted so that it would shift smoothly. When I first got mine it felt like I needed a seat belt for shifting gears!
I did a body fat percentage test this weekend. 14.5% - Not too shabby.

Bike shop guy who set up my bike warned me that as the bike breaks in things loosen up and it may begin to shift roughly. They want me to bring it in after about 30 riding days for a tune-up for that.

Thats the kind of service you get from a bike shop instead of the department store where I bought mine. Kinda wish I'd done that.

169.9 - new low.
In New York for 3 days in our corporate apartment - great fitness center here, so my spare time goes there...
Definitely take the bike back after a few rides - all the cables stretch and things need to be tightened up. Also have them instruct you on chain cleaning and lubrication - needs to be done a fair amount and will keep things running like new for a long time.

Hubs can do the chain cleaning and lubrication. He can do the adjustments as well, but wants them done professionally since it's part of the package.

Nice. I wish I could get the wife to maintain my bike! Getting itchy to get the new one, though.
