Decarbing?
Cold turkey works best for me (literally and figuratively ). When I feel like I'm eating too many carbs, I start tracking my food faithfully, and sticking to proteins like turkey, chicken, beef along with fruits/veggies. I feel SO MUCH BETTER when I eat this way.

Cold turkey for me too- I just go back to eating real food-food: meat, veggies, cheeses, chicken, shrimp.. low carb veggies.. and drink a lot of tea, herbal and black & green..
It takes me a couple days to get past the major head-hunger cravings. But- getting on a time-schedule, pre-planning so I have no leeway, and not grazing gets me back quick enough. I usually set my cals down to 1000-1200 or so, protein at 100g and carbs at around 20g, plus an additional 15-25 in fiber.. and a decent amount of fats, 50g and I lose it and don't feel overly hungry, plus I eat every 3 hours.
I have to be diligent about carbs too or I end up in a frightening spiral of out-of-control eating. I've started taking L-Glutamine though, and I find it really helps me with the physical side of the cravings. It also has a side benefit of generally reducing my appetite. There's a ton of info "out there" on it so you can do your research - run glutamine and sugar cravings through any search engine if you want more info...
