Just sayin'.

Yup, yesterday... everything sucked. I've only been up for 30 minutes so we'll see if today sucks too, so far... I figure it can't be worse :)

I get days where everything is wrong, will never be right again.. life sucks, I suck, doomed to fail at whatever I'm doing.. grumble, whine, complain..

Nothing really gets me out of it but some time, and venting. I ***** my husband listens with a slightly panicked expression at my waaay overblown exaggerated concerns, and criticisms (usually mostly of myself, but sometimes I lash out too)... I go take a shower.. Eventually I get over myself and come to some semblance of normal. I blame hormones, but likely I just am slightly off in the head at times. As long as it doesn't last for more than a few days I just stomp around without too much worry, sometimes I even feel it coming on and give warning. kiss

Hopefully today will be better.. I'm just happy the days are getting a bit longer.

LOL. Yeah. Yesterday was kind of the crash. I seem to have a day or two every few months where I'm just crabby. Usually I take a vacation from weight loss and slack off - have managed to not gain during those times, but maintain - not really an option right now because the holidays just ended. I'll be fine. I just need time, you're right.

I'm a little better today. Of course, no one has come and asked me stupid questions yet... I love my kids, but sometimes I think they were smarter when they were babies. LOL. Preteens seem to have a major case of the stupids.

I have one for you.

I was off the week of Christmas. I wanted to go to the gym a couple of days to blow off steam and just sweat.

My DH and I have 3 cars. We drive a lot and I drive almost 30 miles each way to work. Hubby has his "toy" car. Rambling-sorry!

DH and I went to the mall the day after Xmas in my SUV, on the way the engine starts overheating and smoking. We had just done over $1,000 in repairs in BOTH October and November. We managed to put antifreeze in it and get home.

Yesterday we get car 2 out the shop. It had work done on it -also to the tune of $1100. Hubby and I went to the grocery store and picked up some items for my daughters birthday (today).

On the way home this car overheats and starts smoking and cuts off. We got to a gas station and hubby put some fluids in it. We start driving and again it cuts off. We called our roadside asst and now I have 2 cars not running.

Hubby has to drive his "toy" daily and take me to work. I'm in no mod to eat.
I still take vitamins and my shake but I'm in no mood for some of the very basic posts----especially when some of this stuff is easily found online.

Anywhoo, vent away. Sometimes you have to do it.

OMG. Car repairs are the WORST. Nothing makes me more crazy than a car that is acting up - especially after you just sunk money into the darn thing! I think that might drive me over whatever edge I had left yesterday. It always seems to happen that way though, right?

It's how I ended up with my new van. In June, the old one (after putting $2300 into it) stopped dead. Transmission. $5k. Nope, not going to put anything else into that thing... so I had it towed to CarMax and went and got another one. LOL. Hubby was kind of stunned, but I was SICK of dealing with my van breaking down. It was ALWAYS something. So, yeah, now we have 2 car payments again. Sigh.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that sometimes wants to kill people - online or in real life ;)

Honey. I paid off my SUV and I have put money in it just like I still had a payment. Kicker is that hubby was laid off for a while last yr so our credit is messed up and we are playing catch up now.

However, towing one to Car Max hmmmmn might have to do it!

I'm working on "positive thinking" but sometimes it is so darn hard!

I also had a crown fall out last week. Lucky me I did not swallow it. I don't think that is sleeve friendly!

Yeah, I was surprised they took that hunk of junk, but I guess they mean it when they say they'll take anything. LOL.

I hear ya... it always seems to happen at once... hang in there.

I just want to say ...

You've lost over 200 pounds!!!!

Amazing!!!!!!

Sorry you're having a challenge.  The last pounds suck the most, I think we can all agree.  Honestly, it'll happen faster than you realize.  I remember staring at my last two pounds for what felt like a month... and then after I beat those into submission, I 'suddenly' lost another 10 pounds.  :p  That's life.

Don't crack; take a vacation somehow.  Eat the same stuff, but stop tracking for a few days... or mix it up some other way... keep yourself from cracking!

And don't get to the point with newbies where you want to poke your eyes out.  You need to think more constructively.  Think about pointing their eyes out, not your own.

Thanks, today is better :) It helps that everyone (including teacher hubby) is back to work/school today and there's no one in my home office distracting me or eating crap food. LOL.
